Astral Gnosis Blog is Dead! It went bye bye. Too much debris, arguments and time wasted polemicizing against pious fools (Bless Your Souls!)

I have other things to do currently! Also, to blather endlessly is vice - one should speak only if they have something to say. This blog may have a "normal" frequency of posts again sometime in the near future, or may not!

the Nietzsche quotes blog is on ice for a very substantial reason- I am currently poor and don't have in my possession my favourite Nietzsche books that I was previously able to borrow from a local library that I moved away from, namely Human All to Human's expansions and Daybreak.

This Blog here is mainly on Ice because I wish to withdraw into myself and my explorations for an extended period...

Re-appreciation of Western Wisdom - a positive outcome, psychologically, of the "Gnostic Wave" of the last five odd years. When it comes to flashing "philosophical-sounding religion" credentials, the westerner can now claim with a straight face that their civilization's history had many fine examples, stretching all the way back to Pythagoras. Ah, yes - The Axial Age

You have your Buddha and what-not, and we shall have our Pythagoras, Pre-Socratics, Plato, Middle Plantonists, Plotinus, the Neoplatonists, and Basilides (The Gnostics in general) dare I say? Did I mention the Cathars, my Asian friend?

The Western Mind, for whatever reasons, is affected by these sorts of things. Knowledge of our own past's glories... (even if it is really only the glories of our biological ancestors. But we are it's inheritors as well - the custodians! Duty!!)

Knowledge of our past's glories makes us hold our heads up High, or at least Eye to Eye with the East, and somehow makes us more complete :)

I am sure most of you have heard that tired old saying "Marijuana is a gateway drug". No it isn't.

But the Gospel of Thomas...!

The Gospel of Thomas is quite the treasure, is it not? Not only is it useful spiritually to people in a non-denominational sense, it is also a sort of proto-Gnostic "gateway" to further study of heretical scriptures!

People often speak of the contradictions in the Bible, but as a corpus of "Official Texts" it is a fine example of heresy successfully purged! Most of the lingering glimmers of non-canonical thought are easily lost in translation in the New Testament (Hence the raging debate over whether Paul himself was a Gnostic).

The Fascist Religion of Christianity Corporation (Est. 4th century AD, All Rights Reserved) has a highly rational selection of recognised scriptures in their Canon. This is why the Gospel of Thomas was excluded!

The Gospel of Thomas is illicit reading for a Christian - it's a heady touch of the intoxication, the sheer dope of reading Gnostic texts. The seemingly innocuous Gospel of Thomas is actually the ultimate "Gateway Text" to heresy!

In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna tells Arjuna that the warrior is to kill without malice, without hatred. They are to kill, but with right mind and right heart.

I used to "Hate" cockroaches, flies, etc. Now, however, I have Spiritually Evolved enough to not take it personally, indeed, to Bless them. I still Kill them, but I do so without malice, with Agape Love.

Indeed, I can even Bless them.

I say to the cockroach that I have squished "Thankyou for existing, fellow soul, (and I do believe you have an immortal one just as I do), I Bless you for existing, as the evolutionary chain from which we all have been derived has required your existence that I may exist. EVP-searching Night Visit to one of the alleged Haunted Spots..creepy experience

this is my comments from the comments section of a previous post here...

I checked out one of the places alone and at midnight a two nights ago, and man it was a creepy place.

It's an alleyway and there's supposed to be some abandoned building at the corner of the alleyway/lane and this other street. I couldnt figure out which building it was I figured, screw it I will just stand at the corner and make some recordings (one in long play, one in high quality - HQ supposedly is less successful in catching any ghostie fishies because it has less internal noise in the circuitry, which you need)

I kinda semi-aborted my little foray though because I became a bit self-conscious about people in the neighbourhood, houses, and a block of flats overlooking me...I musta looked like some guy waiting for his dealer lol

now the creepy bit - as I'm walking back down this lane/alleyway (its officially called a lane in the street directory) there's all this gang-style grafitti on the walls like "tax collectors" etc and pentagrams and some other wierd symbol that looked like a kinda pentagram with other stuff on it,and then there's this other alley that branches off from this alley at a right-angle, okay? and its a really narrow alley and it has this high gate cutting anyone off from simply walking into it. behind this narrow alley I could see only pitch-blackness but I could hear the sound of spraying *sssst* *sssst* and I could SMELL the spraypaint! :(

oh by the way - my recordings had nothing in them as far as I can tell...but they were shorter than you're supposed to make them (1.5 minutes instead of 3-5) and also I was too-self conscious to address any spirits verbally because of the locals lol

I'm definitely going back, but perhaps for the next time during the daytime, on a weekday lol...

Maybe I'll steel myself for another night voyage in a week or two. OR THREE! :)

Oh yeah, the *ssst* spraypaint can noises were definitely coming from that sub-alley, and from BEHIND the gates. what the hell would someone be doing in pitchblackness spraypainting on a wall? see my point? and I could SMELL it! *trembles*

Background of my Initiation into Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP)

First, I watched the movie White Noise (Starring Michael Keaton)

I started getting into EVP once I bought my Digital Recorder (JNC USB-350) back in early December 2006 ($150 Australian Dollars). My very first recording was very very interesting...(though inconclusive, sadly) through the USB connection I analyzed it on my PC and subsequent recordings using freeware (Audacity), kindly referred to by the American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena at their website www.aaevp.com

Then due to sudden circumstances I had to move house, and couldn't have my computer delivered to my house for months because of lazy relatives, and then the speakers on my computer blew when I switched the computer on from the powerpoint. Due to general poverty and stingeyness I put my EVP adventuring on ice and concentrated on lucid dreaming (as a launch-pad for astral projection/remote viewing etc) and settling into my new town.

Finally, just the other day I bought new speakers for my computer but they wouldn't work! Had to pay a computer guy 60 bucks to fix some conflicting drivers issue (0r was it conflicting sound cards?)

WELL - Now I am up and running again! Full steam ahead!

TIME FOR FIELD WORK

AND I have garnered information from my local New Age Store of Four Purported Haunted Sites. I plan to visit three of them during the dead of the night on weeknights, so as to minimise tainting of the recording by other noises.

The fourth site is at a local University and so I will just have to wait till their breaks between semester etc, and investigate during the daytime, as Unis tend to have friendly guards at night who will manhandle you and perhaps hit you with their heavy torch :)

Oh man, I don't care if I'm wrong and it was just the placebo effect - I felt stuff from this Japanese version of "Laying on of hands" in the pursuit of healing. There was a feeling of increasing warmth in my Heart, My Head had tingle/vibrations, and when I stood up (the session was done with me lying down) I felt the tingles/vibrations throughout my Entire Body. Also, I was off-balance (which they warned me about after the fact)

The only other time I have felt this whole-body vibrational thing was the time I read some of Astral Projection Pioneer Robert Monroe's third (and final) book "Ultimate Journey" and then went to sleep, later waking up in the middle of the night feeling my entire body vibrating.

The person in question also charged a saintly price for the rather long session. They said that they felt that (to paraphrase them, from memory) "the power did not belong to them, did not come from them - so they felt it was unfair to charge very much for their services." $10 for one hour, and they were with me for easily an hour and a half.

And they Knew stuff about me. They said that they Knew that although I have a Great Heart, that it was sporadic, that (in terms of chakras, as they considered it) most of the energy was streaming forth from my throat, head etc in this force of intellect and speech. From the perspective of their beliefs (regarding the Chakras) they believed that there was this blockage in my stomach, and it came out sporadically and reach my Heart, but then not again...

This person Knew that I was someone who has the Light and Dark both in play simultaneously, even though I possessed a conscience. Nietzschean, in my words. Bwahahaha! The question is - do they believe that I am redeemable? do I believe that I am redeemable? Do I even believe that to Change from precisely what I am would be redemption?

This Inspiring Dream I just had regarding the Art of Living and Dying

There’s this Old Wise Man, almost certainly of Native American/Amerindian descent, and he’s around a fire outdoors, in the night with these other I think two men, and I think they were white men (perhaps anthropologists?) and they are having a conversation and the Old Wise Man is the one talking at the time, and his mortal form suddenly expires.

Then they see this bright ball of light/light etc, and the Old Wise Man’s ghost/spirit/astral form appears there (the mortal body assumingly somewhere nearby) and he continues to speak to them as though nothing had happened, continueing his monologue without the slightest of pauses.

I intuitively knew at the time that the purport of this was not the Old Wise Man’s ignorance of the sudden demise of his mortal form, but precisely his utter attunement to the acceptance and preparedness for such things - not just in the sense of readiness to die at any moment, but a definitive Knowing of his Immortality.

Saying Ancient Gnosticism was Anti-Judaism is not Anti-Semitism

Poor Kenoma_ru was banned from Palm Tree Garden for insisting that Gnosticism is anti-Judaic. The sycophants textually lynched him with cries of Anti-Judaism = Anti-Semitism 100% of the time! No exceptions! Yeesh...

If Anti-Judaism were Anti-Semitism, then Ancient Gnosticism itself would be called Anti-Semitic, you stupid morons!

Anti-Judaism is no more a racist stance than being opposed to Islam is (which I am).

Now, really, in the modern context, who cares? Christianity and Islam are the big Daddys. I feel there's way too much sensitivity surrounding this rather no-brainer issue. Okay, the Jews have suffered terribly thru history. It's tragic. But that's modern history. We're talking about the Facts of an ancient Religion.

The Gnostic Mythos has as the central theme the corruption of the God of Abraham! He's an Abortion, described as a literal abortion! And He tries to rape Eve and stuff! Come on, people..

As I Have stated in a previous posting, Palm Tree Garden, unfortunately, as a Political Actor (an actual term in global politics) fulfills a particular role. The Sanitized version of the history of Ancient Gnosticism, and a sanitized, censored face to Modern manifestations of Gnosticism and Gnostic Types of Thought.

Look - be at least truthful enough to admit that Ancient Gnosticism was Anti-Judaism/Judaic/Jehovah/Yahweh/Yaldabaoth, even if your own modern individual "Way" may not be.

The next part has been added, 21/05/07...it is the comments to this blogpost, where Spark and I have a debate over the issue of what constitutes anti-semitism and what doesn't; somewhat of a digression from the original purpose of the blogpost, but I figured I'd just copy & paste them here rather than devote an entire new blogpost to it (even though I'm well proud that I trounced him in this little battle of ours).

I want to add to my above comments that I do not think you really "get" Ancient Gnosticism if you think it was "anti-Jew, anti-YHVH", and this goes for many (perhaps most) modern Gnostics today. Most Sethian texts incorporate so many elements of normative Judaism (the myths, rituals, and structures are assumed knowledge) that to say that these texts were trying to distance themselves from Judaism is unfair - the Gnostics took great pains to *incorporate* Judaism into their presupposed Platonist worldview. Reinterpretation does *not* necessarily mean distance or hostility. Also, many Sethian texts are not referring to the Jewish God at all when they say Yaldabaoth, but instead are referring specifically to the Platonic Demiurge who originates in the Timaeus. If we move away from Sethians are start examining the Valentinians, the Demiurge is an intermediary figure, a construct-by-God that functions as a teaching machine trying to accomplish ends we cannot fathom (this is consistent with PKD's view). According to the Gnostic Basilides, the Demiurge becomes conscious of itself and ascends to become a glorious Aeon (Abraxas). With so many different takes on the character, I wonder how exactly you justify generalizing Ancient Gnostics as being anti-Judaism. In fact, I can't even think of a single text that calls the Demiurge "evil" but rather that he is ignorant and misguided, the "ruthlessly mechanical" Kosmos-spewing construct that Dick describes.

Of course, my perspective was developed over time by the professional study of Gnostic texts in the original language, and many modern Gnostics believe this to be proof of my lack of authority rather than as evidence of authority. For this reason (and others) I hardly call myself a Gnostic anymore - the word is increasingly associated with things that have nothing to do with classical Gnosticism. My opinions on Gnosticism therefore are not indicative of my modern individual "way" but of historical study. I do not ask that you give up your modern "way" but perhaps you ought to acknowledge from time to time that your view of Gnosticism is your own modern interpretation and stop pretending you are speaking about actual history.

Also, I am curious - Why does maligning the PTG take up so much of your blog space? Did you check out any other Gnostic forums? You'll find that the PTG is actually the most lenient of the bunch, and does not "excommunicate heretics" but bans problem users. There are Gnostic forums, like the one I directed you to, that ban users for violating the set dogmas of the founders (usually something like "Jesus was a mushroom doing pagan" or something like that). Perhaps if you stop harping on the PTG and spend some time with other forums you will see that we're not as much of a cabal of eeeevil orthodox archons as you seem to think.

I fail to see how dismissing these religions is not a dismissal of the people who are identified with them. So you don't hate Jews or Muslims as long as they renounce their Judaism or Islam, which defines them? I'm not sure exactly how you compartmentalize the people to be separate from their identities.

So what, Lash's method is to assume that whatever supposedly came out of Jesus's mouth perhaps didn't. He focusses on the wisdom. Socrate's wisdom is really Socrates-Plato and Socrates-Xenophon. "Jesus's" words are the words of perhaps hundreds of people.

Lash's Gaia Sophia Mythos can only be construed as profoundly anti-gnostic Mythology if you are afraid of some kooky people creating some Enormous Fictions and then saying that it's real. Let's say five people, motorists, total strangers - were suddenly stopped in the middle of the road by a Flying Saucer landing infront of them and then these little grey fellows with balloon-shaped heads come out and say hello. Now, those five individuals DID NOT experience some collective group hallucination, that is just freaking bollocks!

As for E.V.P. www.aaevp.com (recording ghosts on audio and even on your tv screen among other things!) You got several options. You can go "old school" and use a tape recorder (don't use microcasettes, read somewhere it's not as good as big cassettes), but then you will need to provide some sort of constant background noise such as a fan or a running tap. This is the Lore on these things, it's how it's supposed to work. Don't use a "white noise generating program" on a PC because the sound of your PC defeats the purpose. If you, however, buy yourself an Actual White Noise Generator, well then your in the Big Leagues now.

The Weapon of Choice, however, for the serious EVP investigator is to buy yourself a Digital Audio Recorder. They aren't all that expensive. I'm in Australia and I bought a JNC USB-350 and it cost me $150 dollars. The important thing is to make sure they have that port which allows you to connect the device to your PC for further sound analysis. you can download a free program Audacity from the www.aaevp.com website.

The Neat thing about Digital Audio recorders is they provide their own background noise from the internal circuitry, and it is actually good to buy a cheaper, older model as they have the most internal noise, but that isnt to say that you can't record EVPs with flashier newer models or in high quality mode on your cheapo recorder, from what I've read you can record fantastic evps with the more expensive recorders, its just a little more difficult and takes longer to get results, kinda like fishing and nothing will bite for quite some time.

I have had inconclusive results with my own EVP recording attempts so far. I recorded on two seperate occassions these 3-odd minute recordings where there was this identical wierd noise but I think it was just my stomach gurgling :) I spose the trick is to place the recorder a little further away from yourself! I even bothered to play one in reverse and it sounded like "kalp me" (help me). WELL - back to the drawing board!

A Metaphorical Interpretation of the Tree of Good and Evil

One interpretation, which can co-exist with many others and even relate dynamically

The Tree is the Human Brain, which looks like a tree is you imagine a trunk underneath it. The Fruit is the fruit of evolution of the human mind, and obviously perhaps the fruit of psychopharmacological transformation.

Adam and Eve are the Left Brain and the Right Brain. The Intellect and the Emotive. The Apollinian and the Dionysian (Friedrich Nietzsche, "The Birth of Tragedy", Camille Paglia "Sexual Personae"). When Hominids ate the fruit of the Tree, when they gained real consciousness, they were no longer "immortal" like the animals, who to varying degrees had no conception of 'death'.

Yaldabaoth is the rebuke of (blind and dark) biological nature, of the Will to Power itself against the human mind, besieging it and demanding that order be returned, that blindness be acheived once more.

The trunk of the Tree is the Reptilian Brain, and the branches, the leaves- all of this is the evolving mammalian parts of the homo sapien brain.

The female principle reaches out in the spirit inside of it which is to reach out to all, to embrace, and this spirit becomes most free and aware of itself in the homo sapien female.

The Archons of the Male Principle are true to the Male Specialty-Order. Autism is called the "Male Illness" and it is not an exaggeration. The "Sin" of Eve is to be what she is, and the Male Archons seek to restore a sense of Apollonian Order. The potential for women to be (possibly dangerous) violent upwellings of the Dionysian can be seen in activities of the ancient Greek Bacchantes.

That which is most noble in our Reptile Brain, and which is most noble in our pre-mammalian ancestors (perhaps even from beyond the grave) encourages us onward. Hence, the Snake.

Modern Gnosticism as a Way, a Philosophy - Not a Religion

Buddhism is a Religion. Pedantic morons say that Buddhism is more properly classified as a Philosophy, because they don't believe in a God (well the vast majority of Buddhist sects don't anyway). Buddhism is a freaking Religion, Man! They believe in Stuff! Reincarnation, Karma, Nirvana. Buddha's rememberance of all his past lives under the Bodhi tree, etc.

Modern Gnosticism is not a Religion is a Way. For instance, I am not a Gnostic. I "do" Gnosticism. Heheheh, I drop a tab of Gnostic text every now and then. I read some Gnostic texts and they give me the delightful *sparks* of insight. But Gnostic text-reading and musing and ruminating and overall enjoyment is not a religion. It's reverence for incredibly ancient texts that are still extremely applicable to our lives today, and it is mystery and wonder - what Truths lay in these texts? Point is, was Mulder's search for Truth in the X-Files a Religion for him?

Gnosticism is best enjoyed as one aspect of a much broader exploration of the Occult, of the Paranormal, of Psychological Self-Conquest/Self-Overcoming. Gnostic Outlook also can very easily be used as a way of describing the situation so many of us westerners, especially the young (I myself too at 25) find ourselves in, in this godawful world of misery and political corruption and ignorance and control and genocide.

Buddhism, as I said, is a Religion. But it's also a Way. the Gnostic Way kicks it's ass >:) There's Archons everywhere, man! There isnt Just Archons inside you like Guamata said. There's Archons OUT THERE

The Modern Phenomena of actual Gnostic Churches and Gnostic Clergy is a striking thing - I must say, I am pleased such things have happened! However, I cannot help but conclude that all who call themselves Gnostics (in the sense of it being their Religion) are somehow either spiritually less evolved than me, or a little silly.

Now, hold on a minute - I have flexibility here ; identifying one's self as Gnostic to others and actually sincerely being Gnostic are two very different things. I give a nod and a wink to all those Gnostic Clergy out there who are not actually Gnostics, they are, rather - Gnostically Minded. Thru the Official label of Gnostic as their Religion, they do a great service to the masses, by providing places of spiritual congregation for fellow Gnostically Minded individuals.

Am I Gnostic Bashing? Well, I don't think so, I'm moreso dissecting what's really happening here. The Ancient Gnostic Religions were overwhelmingly Literalist, they literally believed in the God of the Old Testament as this Evil Monster hovering above the Earth somewhere.

Now, some Modern Gnostics may point out that ancient Gnostics werent considered initiated until they had produced their own Enormous Fictions - well, that was some Gnostic Sects perhaps, and in any case don't you think a lot of these Gnostic Mythos scribblers were on some sort of drug at the time anyway, and therefore just like the Oracles of Archaic Hellenic times, their visions would have been accorded some sort of Divine Authority? Look at the Book of Revelation in the New Testament - most probably created by some shroomed out fellow, and then accorded Divine Authority.

Where I am going with all of this is as follows - the Ancient Gnostics were for the most part Literalists, and more often than not stuck within their own beliefs of their own particular sects (Sethian or otherwise). The Nag Hammadi Corpus was hidden most probably by Pachomian Monks who considered it would have been an awful waste for these wonderful texts to be destroyed by the authorities of Alexandria. The wide selection of texts found all together gives a false impression to many a modern admirer of Gnosticism of some general syncretic, wishy-washy Unitarian Universalist, Rainbow Alliance "oh we dont really believe in all this stuff" view of the Gnostics, in general.

How can a Religion exists that does not Believe in things? This is the point I am driving at here - 21st century people who profess to be Gnostic don't Believe in many things! That minority of Modern Gnostics would do believe in many of the ancient Gnostic beliefs are crack-pots, for the most part!

I am not a Gnostic. I have a Gnostic Outlook. I am Gnostically Minded. This being said, I am happy that there are Modern Gnostic Churches and Clergy, places for fellow Gnostically Minded individuals to congregate, to network.

In a previous post I said that anyone who calls themselves a "Gnostic" is poser. Let me correct that - some are posers. Then some are crack-pots. Then there are a large group who are struggling with the limitations of the English language to express as succintly as possible what they are. And THEN, there are the Good Shepherds, the Gnostically Minded Ones who play the important Archetype of the Heirophant, the Clergy. Gnostic Clergy, May you continue to call yourselves Gnostics, for it is a little white lie that you tell, perhaps even only to yourselves, and that little white lie does humanity inestimable Good. The Nag Hammadi Scriptures, International Edition -coming out May 29

I'm really excited about this - it's going to have fresh translations of all the texts, and they're even being nice enough to throw in the texts from Codex Tchacos (Gospel of Judas, Book of the Stranger), not to mention the Berlin Codex version of Gospel of Mary.

It's a Hardcover book, as well. That's neat if you have a pre-existing softcover like me, because it means that you can now treat it with somewhat less than the 100% reverence you previously did :) An example of this is my Penguin softcover version of Plotinus' Enneads. Because I have the complete Enneads in Britannica Hardcover, I can throw my Penguin Enneads in my backpack when I travel and it gets the ol dog-ears and everything.

I have read positive things about Lucidity being an excellent Launch Pad into Astral Projection, and have noticed a few astral projection books mentioning Lucidity techniques along with the more familiar approaches.

There is, however, some level of confusion as to what the exact metaphysical differences between Lucid Dreaming, Astral Projection and other phenomena such as Remote Viewing are. I admit to a certain small level of assumption-itis that the paranormal realm permeates our dream state because of the many precognitive dreams I have had over the years.

The main debate is whether Lucid Dreaming is in itself a paranormal state, or whether it is merely a good facillitator of it, in other words - a way to ease thru the commonly felt stages of sepearation from the body (vibrations, sense of floating). I myself have felt these sorts of sensations before as a result of bodged-up Lucid Dreams (or perhaps not so bodged-up up). Permit me to relate a few...

On a number of occassions while lucid dreaming I would try to get out of the body in the traditional sense, but then wake up with my eyes closed (someone infact informed me this is a good way to get out of the body)- well I must say I did feel a very distinct sense of floating on a number of occassions, waking up with my eyes closed. It felt as those I was lying on the floor of an elevator. The problem with this is "what the hell do I do next?" If I open my eyes, it ends. Do I just lay there with my eyes closed feeling the floating sensation and wait for something to happen?

As I said, I am lazy by nature. I own a few astral projection books and borrow others from the Library but when I read them, with their dozens of techniques I find myself frequently saying "blah blah blah!" I'm impatient! I want it NOW! I realise this is a vice of mine that needs working on :)

Also, I strongly suspect I have psychological blockers in succeeding in the "traditional" astral projection techniques. they usually involve lying around trying to stop fidgeting and clearing ones mind, or at any rate reducing the internal dialogue to some sorta calmer more consistent pattern.

WELL- for now I am sticking with straight-up Lucid Dreaming. How long for? maybe a few more months. Hopefully I won't croak before then

If you forget to set-up your Proof Point before bed, and you do attain Lucidity - do not despair, you can still possibly Find a Proof Point, but perhaps with some social embarassment :) You can always try to Remote-View whats going on outside your house, down the street etc, and if you See something that looks unique enough, like some person/people dressed a certain way or some other thing like that- WAKE UP, Run out of your House! Run! Yes, in your silly looking pyjamas if necessary. You gotta catch up with them and SEE them

The Lucid Dreaming technique I am utilising in order to Remote View/see with Astral Eyes

This is how the technique works (I didn't create it either)- before you go to sleep you blindfold yourself and then you set up the "Proof Point". I started off with a randomly picked card from a Tarot deck, but then I wanted to make statistical chance so negligible that I have since upgraded to a Phone Book (Yellow Pages-big ass book with lots of big picture advertisements. Dont use a residential phone book! Basically, get a bigass boring book with pictures in it).

While blindfolded, you randomly open the book, and then even to make your you simply arent opening to the same pages as you did the last time - turn back a few pages backwards, forwards etc. THEN blindly feel your way Out of That Room. Its best if this whole procedure is done with the house in darkness as well, so that once you take off your blindfold theres no chance of reflective surfaces revealing whats on the randomly opened pages.

One Other Thing - In Astral Projection Lore, there is a thing that John Magnus has called "The Fight for Sight". You would be well-adviced to place the Proof Point somewhere where it is illuminated, even if this involves the costly procedure of keeping a light on in that room all night. alternately, to attempt this during the day eliminates all such problems. According to the Lore on these things, Astral Projectors have problems seeing things in darkness, but then can also have no problems at all- I suppose it has something to do with being psychologically still thinking in terms of the "system" we are used to in the mortal world here, and hence assuming that Astral Sight needs Light to see things!

Now when you go to sleep, to maximise your chances of acheiving Lucidity on any given night (if you can afford the sleep disruption), set your alarm for say 6 hours after you go to bed. That way if you havent acheived lucidity by then, you can awaken most probably in the middle of a dream and then go back to sleep with the resumption of your dream as the memory-jogger that you are only dreaming! :)

Remember- Always set up the Proof Point before bed, because if you become Lucid that night you will then have nothing concrete to verify that consciousness extends beyond the body! I speak from experience- the number of times I have been Lucid and remembered I forgot to set up the Proof Point have irritated me so profoundly I now set it up every single freaking night!

One problem I find in Lucid Dreams is the tendency to try to get to (real) places by flying to them. Heh- don't count on it! Someone gave me some useful advice recently - imagine a door, or find a door, and then open it with the intention of it being your House!

I am a novice to all this and I have only had some rather inconclusive results with my previous randomly picked Tarot cards Proof Point. I moved on because the experiment was far too flawed. Hence my switch to a massive freaking boring kinda book with lots of pictures that I hardly ever even open.

That being said, everything I have outlined here are not my own ideas, they are the Wisdom of the S/Ages, the Lorekeepers of Astral Travel. Godspeed!

Perhaps Homo Sapien Myth sometimes reaches back through the collective racial unconscious of all previous lifeforms of the branches we are derived from to the first unicellular lifeform on the planet- The Pleroma.

Metaphysically speaking, we and all of "material" existence come from a previous utter certainty which cannot be described as a Stasis or Movement.

The Shadow of the previous state of "perfection" is seen in the ephemeral perfection and order of things in the Universe, living and non-living., which inevitably fall to chaos. Black holes swallow the Universe, Cancers swallow the body, mutations over time swallow living species. Hence the inherent evil of the Human Body. Only the Soul, Eternal and Pre-Existing being of Purity. All of the "Good" of the species is a shadow of goodness, although it is conceded that the Good can only be realised through the clothing of the Soul with the minds of beings we are yet to be (what a paradox) whose origin is of the Chaos as ours is - our successors, our superceders.

Will the Soul, thru successive incarnations in beings suchs as ourselves and others higher than ourselves, and also through the inherent "uplifting" of their animal faculties in the subtler (astral) realms ultimately equal the triumph of the Soul over evil matter and chaos? I think not. Once a pre-incarnated being dips itself in our muck, they are Forever wedded to the trade-off of such things. It now experiences Joy and eventually Love (first, psuedo-love), but it now also is dogged by the extremes of ego, desire, ambition and impatience! Over the Millenia upon Millenia tempered, yes, until they are truly sublime beings of utter selflessness and Love - but they can always Fall, or falter momentarily.

Picture myriads of highly evolved beings in the Highest of Realms of Joy, Love and Service - now fast forward over millenia and watch many rising to the heights and more than a few falling. Is any soul Ever an Angel forever?

It isn't a way for all, that is for certain. Better to take the less abrasive Jungian approach, for most. Computer games are false fulfillment of our Will To Power, and simultaneously the training of our minds to seek manifestations of our Will To Power outside ourselves rather than within. The Herd instinctually seek outside Beauty and are for the most part unable to appreciate the beauty of a finely honed philosophical mind, the fruit of the Hermit's inner drive for Beauty.

Only in the artistic productions of the Higher Soul is the strangely beautiful world of their mind revealed. The point being that a Beautiful Mind, without even trying, is capable of producing artistic works that are like enchanting enigmas to the herd, even if this artistry is only displayed at the level of social banter. The trick is for the Higher Man to only reveal so much of themselves, and to merely enchant (without even seeking to enchant - for to reveal even a mere fraction of themselves is to enchant) and at the most gaining grudging respect and/or envy. Even in the company of assumed equals, the risks of truly revealing the depths of one's self are High - that which you regard as one of your crowning acheivements can seem to others utterly Diabolical.

Preincarnate Spark of the Divine and "Intelligence/Consciousness" just as Good - All has Soul

In the ancient religion of Gnosticism, some of us have the spark of the divine, and some do not, or alternately, some of us awaken to the spark of the divine within us and some do not.

I wish to make the unequivocal statement here and now that Spirit imbues All, living and non-living. All is Eternal. Admittedly, the "Spark of the Divine" would appear to be something in addition to Spirit- the point being that All living beings have immortal souls, however not all living beings are embodied by a preincarnate spark of the divine.

You may say at this point - "How dare you issue edicts without proof!" I confess, I do not have proof (nor do i issue edicts, merely tesitfy to that which I feel is the truth) , but I feel compelled to argue this metaphysical point due to the disturbing appearance online of sites, movements, that make the case that not all of us humans have a soul!

I am willing to concede that perhaps not all of us were originally a preincarnate intelligence that embodied itself, but I argue that even the beings (human and non-human) without such a pre-existence have indeed Immortality all the same, as do the animals and the plants and the rocks.

Immortality is embedded into the very nature of reality, the very nature of physics. Sure, some quintessential part of you may have existed prior to the body you have now, but even if this is the first time "you" ever existed, you you shall remain- indeed, your afterlife path is not constrained for it in comparison to someone who's inner being has origin from a non-biological intelligence.

Animals have souls. Three days before my pet rabbit died, I woke up in sleep paralysis and a voice labouredly said to me "I like you". I scarcely think many preincarnate souls would waste their time incarnating into animals or plants etc and yet I am convinced they are immortal. Ants are immortal! Their afterlife may be shitty but they aren't aware of that!

And if quality of afterlife or if indeed range of possible experiences is only constrained by level of intelligence, well, then you can absolutely say that even humans who have not had a preincarnate intelligence incarnate into them indeed have their own intelligence and consciousness anyway, and the only difference in the afterlife would be that the preincarnate that incarnates as a human will after their human body dies remember this fact, whereas the human that has no preincarnate intelligence incarnated into them at the time of their physical death will be experiencing the astral realm for the first time. some difference!

The Two Things to Fear- Yourself, and the Archons

The Spiritual Path is called Astral. No fancy names. It is the recognition of the Truth of the Lore of the ages and especially it's confirmation by the Astral Pioneers and the NDE researchers and the communications with the spirit world for the last several decades.

Realise what reality truly is, and realise the two primary danger to your wellbeing in the next life- Yourself, and the Archons.

In terms of yourself, the Golden Rule is quite easy- That which you fear, crave, hope, and believe shall become manifest in the next life.

If you have no fear, no addictions and minimal beliefs then your chances of smooth transition to the next life look very good.

But you don't just have to worry about yourself. You have "Demons" for lack of a better word, spirits (though some of them aren't dead, merely out-of-the-body) who dog you, hound you. They are invisible now, but they hover over you just as your invisible anonymous benefactors do. What are these evil/misguided/tortured-torturing beings doing hovering over you?

In Tibetan Lore they are "Hungry Ghosts", they want a hit of whatever it is you're having, whether it be drugs or sex. And the Modern Revelations confirm this, and add further knowledge of what is going on. Somehow, these Demons feed off your emotions, like energy. And then there are those that just want to fuck with you for the hell of it.

They are invisible for the most part now, but in the life to come, when your current physical body dies and you cross over- those fuckers will be waiting for you.

And that which you fear, crave, hope and believe shall become Manifest. All those demons have to do is torment an ignorant soul for a few moments and they may become convinced they are in eternal hell, and then the demons will have them to play with for God-knows how long. Do you really want to learn how long it takes for the Astral Angel Police to arrive?!

Before Anything Else, Renounce these Two Extremely Bad Ideas - Immediately! 1. Belief that there is no Afterlife for certain, and 2. That there is an Eternal Hell (by extension, that torments by demonic beings cannot be ceased)

The lesser danger to possibly befall you is ensnarement in some false afterlife reality, that, although pleasant enough, is infact nothing but pure delusion, sustained by perhaps solely yourself or along with others. But then, this will only really happen to Christians and Muslims etc, people who strongly believe in particular Religions, you know?

Just avoid Soul Coma/Sleep (thru belief in no afterlife) and also Hells (thru belief in the power of demons to truly hurt and detain you) and you shall be well on your way :)

Some Blogs were meant to be fancy, to have elegant language with every single word used by the Blogger considered and reconsidered. I, on the other hand, know some of my views are so off-putting and bewildering (though not to all ;) I do believe) that I may as well just say them, and let that be that.

I am not sure what will happen in the future with this Blog, as I have never kept one before. As I said my manner is curt and lacking refinement, and I never bother to run spellcheck before I post! Do not be surprised if I am MIA for weeks at a time, and then a sudden burst of seemingly juvenile bile erupts, spilling forth some dozen odd postings.

Unlike other "Gnostic" Blogs, I am not in Stasis. I am actively pursueing the Paranormal. This is the stated Charter of my Blog. Indeed, it has become the Charter of my Life. Do I try to record EVPs of Ghosts every day, and try to Astrally Project every night? Of course not, I am a very faulted human being and have had a past problem with substance abuse and may well have brain damage :) though that certainly hasn't stopped me from possessing paranormal faculties (seeing the future).

If and when I have any breakthroughs whether in the field of EVP recording or in Astral Projection, I will Testify: Not caring what others say about "prove it! prove it!" Those people miss the point.

One is drawn forward, Upward by the testimony of others and then one's belief/convincedness is perfected through personal experience/knowing. Not everything that is true can be proven to the masses, or at least, not by some schmo like me. THAT will take scientists- and there are more than a few working on it! Take heart!

I don't know about you, but I'm tired! :) I think we have entered an era where optimism for the future, quite frankly, is dead. Our generations on Earth are the "Last To Die" as it has been coined dramatically yet somewhat disingeniously by someone (afterall, whether you die in 100 years or 1000 years you die!) . Yep, we're all going to be worked like slaves until we're a mere decade or so from death, and the whole time with the world falling to bits with terrorism and ecological disaster and most probably a few recessions (if not a great depression) thrown in for good measure!

I must admit, I have done scant research on the subject, and as a natural skeptic (you may laugh at this point, granted) I think if I bothered to research the whole New Age and New New Age fascination and vehemence about 2012 I may find myself quickly somewhat less than unconvinced nothing is going to happen!

The Gist of the Astral Revelations and the Importance of Nag Hammadi

the spiritual concept of "consensus realms" , what Out-Of-Body Experience pioneers such as Monroe first related (he called them "belief system territories") and others after him continually reaffirmed as true. Even Deepak Chopra mentions them in his new book "Life After Death"! These delusional afterlife "realms" were discussed over a thousand years ago by the Tibetans as well. As Chopra notes, in Hinduism they are referred to as Lokas.

As I said, I believe in them, I don't Know. But I also believe that I can come to Know! Basically, the concept can be explained like this- a person who believes there is no afterlife for certain runs the risk of going into a sort of soul-coma upon death and lingering in a perceived state of unconsciousness as though under anaesthetic for possibly a very long time, and may even require outside assistance, as they are so embedded in their "one-person consensus realm" that they are unable to even turn to the Light.

Then there are the collective consensus realms which are maintained by a community of souls that have the same beliefs, but these places can fragment and eventually disappear over time as more and more souls become disillusioned with them, fallling out individually or in groups, sometimes to better "astral destinations" sometimes to worse, depending on how traumatic it was for their bubble to be burst and to realise they were hanging out with an automaton Jesus and Virgin Mary etc

Lastly, there are the Non-Delusional Realms which people freely create for themselves alone or in groups, and though they will still be coloured by their personal projected prejudices and past sufferings, in general such people and groups now know what the score is and have left what Gnosticism has sometimes called "The Middle".

These people visit Godawful realms of intolerable suffering, full of evil spirits who torment them physically, emotionally, psychologically. Perhaps the only thing that saved them from languishing in such a place for God-knows how long was being revived in the Hospital.

I have had a taste of what one of my personal Hells could be like thru recurring bad dreams I have had since I stopped smoking weed every day about a year ago. Constant dreams of nearly getting to smoke some weed but missing out! Imagine that sort of Greek-suffering-in-Hades style torment for yourself, and ask yourself are your addictions, whatever they may be, are they really worth it?

The Lore, continually refreshed and confirmed and renewed by astral traveller after astral traveller reconfirms the reality of these self-imposed delusional tortuous realms where demonic beings torment us and we linger in pits of despair and drug addicted bondage for
possibly millenia. who are these beings? many of them are humans who sunk so low they may not come back, they are just rapists and torturers now, waiting for the fresh meat to come from our existence thru to the other side. Indeed, feeding on us while we are still alive, and diverting our thoughts to their purpose, luring us into Hells

Gnostic Wisdom can help you. The Demons can only harm you if you let them. In the Afterlife, nothing negative can befall you that you do not allow to occur.

To take it to an extreme (something for another post) I talked with a Taoist once who said he had thru a series of thought experiments eliminated all possible fear of death, he had even meditated on what it would be like to burn to death and have the very flesh from his face and body melt off while he observes. Even if you wake up in flames in the Afterlife, if you have prepared for anything and your mind remains lucid and calm, then nothing bad can befall you, Especially if you train yourself to focus on the Light and the Love for outside assistance.

I Love the start of "One the Origin of the World", because it begins with this rather lucid and sound philosophical line of thought quite worthy of the best that Platonism ever produced; what follows after is a sharp devolution into utter Fantasy that makes one wonder sometimes whether the Gnostics were on shrooms and whether the writer, nay, collator and assembler of this vast convoluted treatise was not themselves on Shrooms, creating an amalgam of other people's shroomed out writings. Michael Baigent on Astral Travelling Jesus

the following I previously posted at palmtreegarden forum, thought it was worth putting here even though it may cover some ground I've already discussed

In Michael Baigent's recent book "The Jesus Papers" he makes the startling argument that Jesus was intiated into the secrets of visiting the 'Far World', secrets that many other traditions throughout the mediterranean world had been privy to over the millenia including the Egyptians, the Orphics, other Mystery cults etc

He draws particular attention to the similarities between Secret Gospel of Mark and accounts of practices of Mystery cult traditions in which the initiate is put into a state of 'incubation' in a dark and quiet place, usually under the ground or in a cave. Baigent's argument is that Jesus didn't raise the young man in white clothing from the dead literally, (traditionally an initiate would wear clothes than usual- that he is mentioned as having certain clothes is significant) but rather rose his spirit by giving him Gnosis of the Heavens

Anyone who has read Baigent's book would realise that even though he doesn't use the word "astral" anywhere in it (perhaps he carefully bit his tongue!) that he is most certainly talking about Out-of-Body experience (astral projection), seperation of the consciousness from the body-in short, the exploration of another Realm. One is left with the distinct impression that Baigent believes in this realm, not merely researching and discussing those who did believe in it.

It cannot be denied that if a person acheived such a state, exploring (real!) realms beyond our normal perception, that this is a form of Gnosis, even if it is somewhat less than 100% undiluted by our own psychological projections/expectations/delusions/fears/desires (as the Tibetan Book of the Dead clearly states it is)-ANY exploration of such a spiritual realms that goes beyond mere 'lucid dreaming' is a form of Gnosis, though certainly not the only one.

The controversy I wish to discuss (but by no means the only one in regard to this topic, please do suggest others) is about when personal first-hand experience, Gnosis of the Other Realms then leads us to have the Ancient Gnostic texts defer to our own experiences, to indeed be superceded by them. Growth!

I may sound insulting, but I do feel there are many Neo-Gnostics who have a strong subconscious reluctance to explore the possibilities of Astral Projection/Out-of-Body experience or any other sustained personal explorations into paranormal phenomena- a subconscious reluctance borne of the tyrannical, blind and crippling rule of the Ego, (which we can never really smite definitively while we're still alive, at the very least, I do believe)

Also, there is the fear of the downgraded sense of importance, of revelation from our blessed Gnostic texts. But this needn't be the vase. I Feel the Truth immanent in what they say, You Feel it too. We know they aren't true all the time but when they speak Truth they Speak Truth.So I think we as Gnostics need to not fear the Paranormal, or our exploration of it, but rather embrace it.

I see the Future in My Dreams

I...Am....A PRECOG! But then, so we all should be, in theory. Maybe not every lifetime has incidents of precognition, a person's lifetime devoid of the magic of Reality breaking thru into their little world. All I know is that I have had many, many precognitive dreams, and they are always fulfilled within 24-72 odd hours, although even straight away as soon as I wake up, on occassion. How about that?

I won't bore you with the details just now as the Archons of laziness are preventing me from typing out for the upteenth time my "Big Six" precog hit-the-nail-on-the-head experiences that I have told people in yahoo chat before. Maybe I'll post them in another post some time soon. Even if I told you I could be lying, from your perspective (rolls around laughing)

Dream Precognition is the best sort because you can prove it to yourself that it really happened, nobody can take that away from you. Even though details here and there were not exact, so what, thats your dreaming brain colouring the received impressions from the Akashic Aether and so something here will be slightly different, and something there. But when the dream is fulfilled, you Know you saw the future!

What do most of us do with this information is it happens to us? Once, probably not much. Twice, that gets you thinking. Third Time? There's a percentage of the Precog'ing population that at this point would be "converted" to belief that this was really happening. Half a Dozen Good Precog Dreams, unambiguously foreseeing what soon transpires? Knowing. Gnosis.

But then I fear that sadly, far too many of us just shrug it off as though it were nothing, just a coincidence or (even worse in a way) that seeing the future doesn't prove the Immortality of the Soul and so 'what use is it to us'? they think. How did we become so dejected as a race, that when the Blessed Other Side breaks into our lives we sit there all miserable and ho-hum about it.

It's like depression, really, or like when you've stayed up for far too long and everything seems boring. "Ho-hum I saw the future again, big deal what does it prove?"

Extraterrestrial Archons Hypothesis the best bet

The Root of All things Archonic comes from the Demiurgic Process. Even Atheists would admit this, as all things made, all structures have their price- we are animals and we are very vile at times. There is no need for the Creator to be like Ialdabaoth. There may be something along those lines going on from a Phildickian 'Artifact of the Urgrund' perspective in his "Cosmogony and Cosmology" (his argument is very seductive) but once again, there's no need.

No need for the Demiurge in the Gnostic sense. Demiurgic Process, however- who could argue with it? We are evil because we are machines. Our Ego is a product of evolution is constantly dogs even the best of us, often fooling us into thinking we have transcended the Ego when really we have merely been ensnared into yet another illusion. These are the Archons within us, but I believe there are other Archons as well

In Gnosticism you have the Archons that establish some brutal sort of order, and then there are the others hanging over the pit of chaos, Belias among them, who are just plain out-of-control, probably suffering as much as meting out suffering to others unfortunate enough to be trapped there. This, in many ways, is analogous with the findings of many Astral Travellers.

There are Demons, very real, who dog us in this life and the next. Who literally swarm over some of us feeding on God-knows-what though we've been given some clues by the repeated stream of information from NDErs and OBEers and it more often than not correlates very neatly with the ancient Lore on these matters.

Astral Projection Pioneer Monroe relates that one time some unknown entities stopped him in his tracks while he was out of the body and drained from him something that he decided to describe as "Loosh". That's what I think as well, there's Alien Archons that are every bit as wretched as us because they are a product of existence like us and they are feeding on us as we feed on the animals. Not very original, no. But the truth can be cliche you know.

Reptilians, Greys shit yeah. Alien Archons. John Lash is Right, Except about the Gaia Sophia stuff and the fractal stuff and the aliens as non-biological thing...thats kinda whacked! But he's right about the alien archons thing I reckon and it certainly makes for an interesting exegesis of Gnostic text.

They're draining our Loosh and putting it in fuckin Energon Cubes just like the Decepticons in Tranformers, and they taint our DNA so that we're dumber and so they water us down racially and then top themselves up with our attributes that they need, for instance to improve their physical beauty (greys especially) and possibly also so that they can experience the depth of emotions we have and even to aide in the very salvation of their astral souls!

Oh yeah, and they're turning out Third Eyes to cement with all the flouride they're putting in the water through their alien-possessed flesh-suit proxies here on Earth.

Jesus Gnosticism a Cult of Personality (poor Jesus)

Poor Jesus, the Real Jesus that is. Socrates doesn't have to put up with this bs, nobody prays to him all the time, calls his name out feebly in the night. Imagine having the super-hearing of Superman but not the ability. Yes, I assume Jesus is not God or the Son of God and does not have the ability to be several places at once. Okay, maybe possibly three places at once, but not millions of places!

Poor Jesus in the afterlife, having to here over the Astral aether the continual misguided yearnings and assumptions of several millenia of humanity. Modern Gnostics are doing the same thing, annoying the shit out of Jesus.

Don't pray to Jesus. Just listen to the wisdom that came out of his mouth and the wisdom that was put into his mouth by subsequent authors. Just like with Socrates, we listen to the wisdom of Socrates-Plato and Socrates-Xenophon.

Jesus- a Mouthpiece for a Massive amount of wisdom, some of it most probably wisdom of the sort attained by people who had paranormal experiences and related them in the best way they could understand. Just like the Tibetan Buddhists.

John Lash was right, Jesus may have been an ancient Jewish Yasser Arafat! I enjoyed the way some of the Gnostics at palmtreegarden took offence to that particular comparison. I don't particularly believe it myself, I think Jesus was a profound pacifist and also didn't worship Yahweh, but possibly El, for instance. Or the One, the Monad. Who know, does it really matter?

A New Apocalyptic

You may scoff at the thing called EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) and think it isn't real, or its dubious and people aren't really recording Ghosts on audio, etc. That won't change it from being so if it is so!

They say that you can't find evidence of spiritual things because they're spiritual and not physical! What rubbish! There is an Objective Reality and the world of spirit works within it and in the broader scheme of things the world of spirit and this apparent phenomenal world we are currently aware of or able to prove with certitude are infact One World, One Reality, One Substance. This means we can use the scientific instruments at out disposal and go "fishing" for Ghosts. Ain't that swell?

Why aren't You trying to Fish for Ghosts? Because you don't want to "waste your time"? I think not spending your time in paranormal research is a waste of time, indeed a waste of your life. Paranormal Research is a far better spiritual path than getting high of ancient texts all the time.

Oh the Glory, the Glory of it when the Scientists who persisted with the Paranormal EVP research and the Spirit Materialisation under lab conditions work are vindicated! I noticed that a recent thread about James Cameron on Palmtreegarden were hostile about the whole Tomb of Jesus thing. Seriously, it's post after post sycophants saying the same stuff, negative stuff about the whole controversy. Why? Why do we care if Jesus had a corpse? As if the body raises from the dead! It's the Soul, the Spirit, the Astral Double, the Shadow (or are we the shadow?) The Twin.

Whatever my innermost essence is, which from the research of many scientists including Joe H. Slate MD (in his book 'Beyond Reincarnation') would most likely appear to be some sort of preincarnate virginal intelligence that then attaches itself to a biological machine such as a human body- whatever the inner essence of my soul is, I have no doubt that what raises with it is the copy of the body, with all of it's imperfections! Sure, you may be able to reverse the ageing of your body in the afterlife as many NDEers and OBEers have attested to seeing their loved ones precisely doing and to have done, but I reckon if you have an ugly mug down here, you're taking it up there with you, only able to mask it at times with a kind of "similitude". Maybe thats one of the reasons why we choose to incarnate so many times, vanity! To finally have a face we can stand to wear as our primary Avatar over the countless millenia and millions and billions of years.

You consider me presumptuous and to be taking their word for it, all those NDers and OBEers and Parapsychologists and what-not? Well, volitional incarnation makes a whole lot more sense than some outdated version of karma and where you may become an animal in the next life against your will- how stupid!

So Jesus's body died. I believe (if he existed at all) that his Soul Rose, and spoke to the disciples and continued to teach. I believe that Jesus while alive healed the sick, as we all can!

Now, I wouldn't be surprised if many tune out from this Blog the initial tone seems to be one of duality, us and then, war, struggle. Oh well! I do tend to ramble and digress from topic headings because I am writing on the fly. I do feel that I have some valid points to make though, about the subtle processes that threaten to mediocritise Neo-Gnosticism, and these processes I do not see as in any way being limited to Palmtreegarden, afterall people like Elaine Pagels and what-not have been presenting a sanitized face to Gnosticism for years.

One of my topic threads before i was banned concerned Astral Projection. I placed other threads about this same subject in the past, using other usernames because like so much dead skin some of us often slough off one username after another, whether it be forums or chatrooms. As Nietzsche said (to paraphrase), we change, evolve, and nobody notices and they don't forgive us for the past.

The reception to any discussion of the Paranormal, overall, in Palmtreegarden, I have noticed is rather tepid and I am referring to beyond the threads I myself started under three different usernames. Could this be an indication of an underlying hostility to the Paranormal in Neo-Gnostic ranks? I wouldn't be surprised, afterall in recent years Science and Research of the Paranormal have become two words taken more and more seriously in conjunction with eachother.

People make excuses to ignore the abundant evidence, whether they be Atheists, Christians or New Age sorts. They want to remain embedded in their familiar belief systems, and, quite literally, it would appear they may well be in this life and some period of time in the Next!
I don't plan to spend possible millenia romping around some cloudy place with fellow sheep talking to a collectively projected automaton Jesus. I want to experience the Non-delusional astral heavens, thankyou.

Sophia, Feminine Principle? The Fall of Sophia, while beautiful from an aesthetic, (greek) tragic perspective is a horrible continuation and sublimination of the "fault in woman" doctrine. Far better to read into Sophia nothing much more than the opposite of "monad", (product of) Barbelo out of control etc Male=Monad, Female=Dyad. Done!

Now we have a whole bunch of Modern people believing in a Sophia! I don't need Mummy thankyou very much. I do digress, perhaps this is for another post!

More Gnostic Forums are Needed

I started this Blog partially due to the fact that I was banned from Palm Tree Garden Forum and because I lazily had my username set to auto-login I can't even establish a new username or even View messages on the forum. I won't be surprised if the Moderators decide to just leave me hanging, unable to even Read anything from the forum from my own computer.

This isn't intended overall as a rant against palmtreegarden, for the most part I have praise for it, a wildly successful and vibrant community that has even seen some beautiful pieces of original Gnostic compositions emerge in its blessed spaces.

But there need to be other Gnostic forums that can represent those with darker moods, more forboding concerns and anger to express. Palm Tree Garden as an entity, an "actor" in the socio-political stage has become, I do believe, interested in presenting a sanitized face of Gnosticism and the overall counter-Orthodox Underground.

I myself lack to funds to set up another forum, and even if I did it certainly wouldn't be a rival forum, but rather just somewhere that Gnostic-types can express things that they can't on palmtreegarden, that's all. Anyone who knows of such a place, please do inform me!

I was puzzled that palmtreegarden has two Catholic Moderators (though I doubt at least one of the self-proclaimed catholic Mod's sincere commitments to Catholicism). Now, I am not being alarmist and saying "Oh No, Archons!", and even if I did I would be saying that all the other Mods were potential Archonic Actors (in the sociopolitical context), as is always the case in ANY Moderated forum environment. Indeed, censorship is a necessary evil.

I wish there was a Gnostic forum where the Mods had a pre-arranged understanding that they were going to say Yes to slamming Judaism, Christianity and Islam (In this definition i do not include assorted heretics such as Quakers, Christian Science, Swedenborgianism, Newly Emerging Church Movement etc).

Palmtreegarden folk seem happy to slam Atheists and the like because, dare I say, they don't feel they need to gain anything from them, to score any brownie points. But now you can't even call Christians "stupid" anymore, what's up with that?

Christianity will never accept Gnosticism because Gnosticism hates their God. And thank the True God for That! Any Christian who considers Gnosticism not to be a tool of Satan or at the very least a dangerous and unrecommended perversion of their faith is someone I call not really a Christian, they're a Neo-Christian one of the New Breed. I salute the New Breed! Come out of the closets, New Breed Christians, and proclaim your seperation from the moronic flock of Borg!

Gnosticism must eventually defer to Personal Gnosis

This Universe is hostile and impersonal, as Tool says in their latest album. Full of Love? Rather there are quanta of Love within this cold and unforgiving abode that struggle to survive and to grow and illumine the Darkness.

How many Millenia has your Soul already spent in Darkness and how many Millenia more shall it? What would happen if your present Incarnation ended today on a bad note, at your lowest? Don't you think the Archons would love to do precisely just that, to assault your mind at your last breath, and and entangle you in some dreadful Afterlife fate? Do you really think the "Light" or the "Aeons" or the "Angels" will save you straight away, that they're going to just do all the work for you?

There is only one cure to the Fear, and that is to Know that Consciousness Survives Death. Read all the scriptures you please, you will not receive the guarantee of escaping Astral torments, the realms of weeping and gnashing of teeth- you will not escape the self-made astral prisons of addiction to drugs and sex if you do not prepare for the possibility. You will not escape the counterfeit heavens and hells that suck the countless souls in and waste their time

I cling by the fingernails to Knowing of the Reality of the Paranormal. I see the future in my dreams before it occurs. I have become an amatuer Paranormal Investigator and simultaneously pursue the paths of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) research, and attempted Astral Projection/Out of Body Experience, with the aim to prove that through OBEs you can see what you shouldn't be able to see, in short, I establish Proof Points.

My challenge to all you so-called Gnostics out there is Why Aren't you Trying to Astrally Project as well? Afraid that you'll learn there's no Sophia? Oh Boo Hoo

I believe the Nag Hammadi Texts contain many Truths, and that the Archons are very, very real. Moreover, I believe that there is Salvation, but you won't attain it through reading ancient texts. Gnosticism must defer to Personal Gnosis, only through personal Knowing of the Immortality of the Soul can we be assured of escaping the Manifold Horrors that befall unprepared souls in the Afterlife
